Lots of news – from the studio and BeARcade Music Productions side – our new Strings and Things web store is up and running. The vast majority of the in-stock products are listed. If you don’t see a string type ot accessory that you need check the D’Addario web site and find it – contact me at gene@bearcademusic.com and I can get it for you in a few days. The cds listed on the site were all made at the studio – there are more cds to add as I get permission and sound bites from each of the cds will be uploaded shortly.
As far as news for the Highlander String Band we are playing the Monday night contra dance at Massanetta Springs on 05-MAR and we travel to Mt Airy, NC to appear on WPAQ radio, live from the Earle Theater on 10-MAR at 11 AM. You can stream that show from WPAQ – it’s called the Merry-Go-Round and it is the secondest longest running radio music program in the US – following The Grand Ole Opry. We’re pleased to be asked to play on the show once or twice each year.
